Co-Founder 2002 to 2019
I am the co-founder of SPIRIT along with my friend and founder Chris “Chief” Lawson. Like Chief, I have been interested in the paranormal since my early childhood. My mother told me of seeing the apparition of her father shortly after his death. However, most of those around me in my childhood were very skeptical of the idea of “ghosts” and “spirits.” That skepticism remains with me today and I define myself as the resident “believing skeptic” of the group. I say “believing” skeptic in that I have had a number of personal experiences which have no rational or scientific explanation which forces me to recognize that there are things which are considered paranormal. I am very reluctant to classify areas as haunted or inhabited by ghosts but am very willing to explore possibilities.
Unlike Chief, I did not begin formal investigating until I was intrigued by watching various “ghost hunters” on television and documentaries. Together, we formed SPIRIT to use scientific and provable methodologies in investigations and always seek first rational explanations for claims of paranormal activity.
Outside of SPIRIT, I am a father of 4 children with one grandchild. I am a retired attorney turned Information Technology consultant. I am a Freemason and a Past Master of Calvin W. Prather Lodge #717, a Past Commander-in-Chief of the Indiana Consistory of the Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite, Member of Prather York Rite and Murat Shriners.

" My dear friend, we have travedled the road of the paranormal togather and it has been a long journy that is not over. This is not goodbye and I will miss you as an active part of the team but you departed for a noble cause. I hope you enjoy retirement".
